11 Outfits Under £100
There’s some seriously great high street pieces out there at the moment. From big buffet dresses to cute little tops and gorgeous sandals to pretty jewellery, i’ve found some amazing pieces that you won’t believe are the price they are!
I get so many DM’s and emails about creating budget outfits especially now in these uncertain times, so I thought it was time I put some outfits together to show you just what you can achieve for £100 or less.
I know we are all aware of sustainability and trying to buy better, but I am also very aware that this is easy to say when you have a higher household income. I think we just need to be careful that we don’t mindlessly buy and that we stick to pieces that have longevity and that we will get the wear out of. I have clothing from Zara etc that i’ve had for years and I have no intention of throwing out as I still wear and love them.
Over the last few years I have tried to ‘buy better and slower’ by shopping from small independents, saving up for higher priced items and being more conscious about what i’m spending my money on. But that definitely is not to say that I don’t buy from the High Street.
The outfits that i’ve put together will hopefully appeal to everyone. There’s boho, classic, retro, modern. Some pieces are under a tenner and some up to £50 but all outfits add up to £100 or less. What a steal!
While researching all these pieces, I might have put a few things in my virtual baskets! I now need to decide whether to press buy!
Many of these outfits can be mixed and matched with other pieces. So for example take the gingham sandals and wear with the jeans and top from outfit 2. Or take the khaki shirt from outfit 6 and wear with the denim mom shorts in outfit 3, then complete the look with the black sandals from outfit 11.
If you want a styling task to do, why not create an alternative outfit using all your favourite pieces. This will allow you to practice your styling skills and also show whether the items you like can be worn in different ways. Another good tip is if you’re thinking of buying any of the pieces, think about what you have in your wardrobe already. Do you have shoes/bags/tops that go with the item you’re buying. Can you think of at least 3 ways to wear the item. Even though it’s a low priced piece, you still want to make sure you will get the wear out of it!
