Xmas gift guide - Teens
So yesterday was all about the little ‘uns. But eventually those little cherubs grow up into pesky teens and Christmas is suddenly very different! I found the transition from kids to tweens to teens quite difficult at Christmas time. They go through that phase of not wanting to be anywhere near you, so stuck inside with a whole load of Christmas games and older relatives, doesn’t feel like much fun to them!
Present buying can be equally as difficult! With teens, all they want is money or a very expensive piece of tech. Long gone are the days of soft toys, games and dress up. Nowadays it’s the parents that wake up excitedly waiting for the teens to wake from their slumber at God knows what hour! They open their gifts with a grunt, then it’s back to their phones by midday!
Thankfully though, we are coming through the other side now and older teens are actually quite fun to be around. Who would have thought it!
